Mission Impossible.
So we started working with a new realtor last week … and we haven’t heard a peep from him since last Friday.
I am considering getting a real estate license my own damn self. Then we’d not only find our own houses to look at - which I do every evening anyway - but I’d be able to prepare the paperwork to buy a house when we find the right one.
Three percent of the accepted sale price is the usual commission, which means if we find a $300K house to buy, our agent stands to make $9,000.00 on the deal. All for just for staying in touch by phone or e-mail and spending a day or two a week with us out on the road looking at houses.
It is frankly the ultimate slacker job and I’m tired of people who can’t do it.
All I want is an agent who wants to make money. All I want is someone who works at it, or can at least fake working at it. I wouldn’t even ask them to work as hard at their business as we work in ours.
I only want the impossible.
